Sumac just a spice, mostly used in Middle Eastern cuisine.
The red stuff you see sprinkled on hummus is sumac.
Yeah I enjoy it, but not sure if everybody will.
Thinking I might do a seafood gumbo of some sort. Never done it before.

Everybody is good on seafood, as we've done seafood related dinners in the past. Gyros definitely a good idea. Appreciate that.Gumbo may be touchy...do you know if anyone is allergice to any seafood?
Do build your own gyros. Cheap, quick, and easy. There's a Mediterranean spice at the grocery store or you can get some tikka masala sauce and simmer some chicken pieces in that and cut it up. Or you can do lamb, grab some naan, feta and romaine and you're good to go. You ca also make or by tzatziki sauce. Super easy.
