One of my favorite movies ever, and definitely my favorite food movie, is ratatouille

I've never had it but I've taken it upon myself to master the same recipe from the film.

This was my first attempt

First the taste.
No humble brag but it was really good.
It tastes like pasta actually.
The sauce was a puree of the leftover vegetables, garlic, olive oil, salt and pepper and thyme.

Mistakes I made.
I need a mandolin.
Sauce was too thick
The vegetables should be closer together.

It was a solid first try tho.

My first encounter with this dish was Waldo on Family Matters becoming a chef. Rata tat tata tat touille

What cut is That? ^^^^

So I tried these

First thing I did after opening up a pack was take a big whiff.
That was a huge mistake. These have by far the most vinegary smell I've ever experienced from a bag of chips. But, I think it's because it's such a tight compartment with a small opening as opposed to a bag.
The chips are good, but imo not very vinegary
One of the least vinegary chips I've tasted, it's almost like the vinegar is hoverhanding the chip.
The acidity is almost just a shadow.

Probably won't buy these again.

You asked for da vinegars, you got da vinegars

Love Sicilian pizza. It may be a lot of dough but it’s really good. Reminds me of focaccia bread.

Yeah a good sicilian is legit. Have always wanted to try spumoni gardens, that **** looks delicious

Red lobster fell off. I ordered some few years ago and it was awful.
They did, but the biscuits are still pretty good. Their original cheddar bay biscuits were what they were known for, then they slightly changed the recipe and made them smaller. The change came in 2014 when Darden Group, the original owner of Red Lobster, sold the company to Golden Gate Capital.

If you live in a place that can get fresh seafood, you should never eat at red lobster.

I've eaten at red lobster before and it's okay.
But it's not memorable

Everything they offer is 5 outta 10

Except the biscuits from what I have heard

Taking the remainder of my ribs from last night and steaming them in an apple cider vinegar brine. Think I'm gonna pull the meat and make sandwiches two ways: one with caramelized onions and a sunny-side up egg and the other with cole slaw and pickles.

Pics to follow if they don't suck.

The red lobster hate is overdone. A fresh lobster, that's not overcooked is always good from wherever.
