Agreed. I need more info on the origins of the bird.

My son is allergic to the top 8 allergens. We buy whole chickens (with the neck and feet included) for around $57 each. The chicken are killed and then shipped to us within a day so it's the freshest chicken around. Majority of the chicken farms feed their chickens some sort of soy and wheat blend (my son can't eat either). Took us a while to find the farmer but its worth the price for me.

Interesting, probably delicious. Best chicken I've had is when my grandma raised her own. That price though, yikes.

Great quality chicken. Yes, the price is pretty high. I think they command that price because not many farmers are doing what they do and I assume they can only raise but so much chickens unlike the bigger corporations.
