millions of them but in OC http://www.yelp.com/biz/tan-cang-newport-seafood-santa-ana is popular.
I went there earlier this year, it wasn't anything special to me.

Nostalgia has me recommending these two:

Anyone know a place in or near Beverly hills that serves Good Carne Asada Fries?
You're not going to find any good Mexican food anywhere at Beverly Hills :lol

But if you can drive out, go to Alfredo's Mexican Food or Pepe's Tacos
or you can go explore East LA in general

When I say not far, I didnt mean like 1-2 miles but I guess less than 10-15 miles. I`d be using Uber. I know LA is super Spread out so I guess my definition of Spread out may differ than you guys lol.

Man, kamakazi fries sound good right now. Wasn't too big of a fan of their sandwiches though.

danger style danger style It's a new joint in SJ off of Brokaw.

Fozz Fozz Those Fries were good. The sandwich was just ok. Not pictured was a short rib bowl. That was good too. The beef taco was 3.45 each! :{

Celery, red onion, chive, sour cream, mayo(more sour than mayo) salt, pepper, white balsamic vinegar, just a splash, enough to loosen the dressing. Also, roast your pots instead of boil.

I have been wanting to do a rib roast for some time now. It's a lot of money, though, so I don't want to **** it up. Also, I'd be the only one eating it since my wife doesn't eat beef.

Veggie tacos I made last night. I grew the cherry tomatoes, cucumber, squash flower, and greens but added leeks and yellow bell pepper. The squash flower was stuffed with goat cheese and breaded with panko then baked.

I post a lot of my food pics on my farm instagram @naturalnomad561 if anyone is interested. Now that growing season in South FL is in full effect I should be incorporating more of my own home grown stuff into the meals

Good weekend for food.

Friend made burgers and salt-boiled potatoes on Saturday night.  I did mine up with red onion, pickled jalapenos, sharp cheddar, and sriracha mayo:

I made slow-cooked Asian pork ribs for football on Saturday:
