FOOD THREAD VOL. GRUB LIFE

Anyone ever been to the French laundry out here in Cali
I got reservations for valentines day
And just want opinions on folks who have been
:nerd: :nerd: :nerd: :nerd:
I never been
But isn't it close to like 600-800 bucks for dinner for 2
:x
Hope its worth
Yeah
Like a 9 course meal
I hope it's worth it too

that tip tho.
The 9 course meal is $295 per person
And includes tip and service and any non alcoholic drinks :pimp:

nawghtyhare nawghtyhare the owner of the place doe is like probably the best chef in America

I went to his other restaurant, Bouchon, and it was glorious, got the croque madame
I paid $20 for my brunch doe

Where that's at and what type of food was there
Pic of ur plate??? :nerd:
He got like three Bouchon places, one at Vegas, Beverly Hills, and Yountville. I went to the one at Vegas

It's French food

I've had french food in France and it was no where near $300 lol
But I'm guessing the location, the atmosphere, and the service all make it worth it

Yo, taro bubble tea is crack. I never had it or knew what it was until my friend recommended it to me last year and basically said it was ube. Also had a taro smoothie at a dim sum place and it was amazing.

This place is ******* fantastic.

On a totally unrelated note, I find too many of today's cupcakes are over frosted. And no one is speaking out about it.
