I know that this is the food thread but since there isn't a coffee thread I figured I'd ask here.

I'm in the market for an espresso machine. Does anybody have any recommendations?

I'm trying to decide if I want to splurge on a Rocket Apartamento or go with one of the Breville Barista Express or Pro machines (the pro doesn't have a visible pressure gauge thing- how big of a deal is it to have/not have that visual feedback?)

Any insight would be appreciated!

Appreciate the response. But I'm trying to steer clear of all fully automatic machines. I'm willing to get my hands a little dirty and experiment a bit.
