A few beverages my brother & his wife got from Thailand. Some really neat ones in the lineup. Earlier we went to the food market in Flushing Meadows Corona Park next to Terrace On The Park. The stalls are out there every Sat during summer. The Afghani Mantu dumplings were nice & juicy with great sauce. Kabuli palao was delicious & rice was nice & fluffy type with fresh onion. The Afghans are the only ones I know that can incorporate carrot & raisins into their dishes & it really works wonderfully. The meat was so tender & just melts in your mouth. The chickpeas were way too spicy for me so I only had one bite & my dad had the rest. Their rose mint limeade was just rose sherbet with water nothing special(can easily be made at home) & 0 trace of lime in it. The ice cream we had from Transylvania Bakery was just ok to me. Cone was a cool honey dipped kind but meh.

The Portugese pastry's are crack 🤤. The custard inside was so warm & mellow smooth flavor without being overly sweet. It's gotten really popular in NYC as of late. My sis in law put me on. The dark chocolate one was good too but not as good as the regular one. Sis in law got some Cassava & sticky rice cakes. And a pic of the Terrace building. Overall a great & yummy evening .

Got a recipe on that okra? I'm cooking Indian at some point this week.
It's got veggie masala(3 teaspoons), garlic, a lot of onion & tomatoes with green peppers and about 2 medium sized bags worth of frozen okra. My dad cooked it & he doesn't follow the traditional recipe in terms of measured amounts & how much of what to put in he just goes off of experience & knows what he needs & how much or how little of it, lol.
