His donut shop is on my list. Have you been to either business (taco/donut shop)?

I’m not knocking prices just curious how profitable tacos spots are looking at the price they charge and the amount food they give you.

I read awhile back some pizza shops make millions selling slices in NY.

This company made roughly 1 million dollars within a year selling mail order cookies.

He has a donut shop too? Never knew that. Haven’t been to the taco shop, but folks have posted that taste is meh for the prices they’re charging. Ranges from high $5 to high $6 for a taco. Also, $15 for a damn burrito. I stick to the local joints, but even their prices are starting to climb.

I wonder if any celebrity food joint/restaurant has ever been successful. Jordan had a steakhouse or 2 in Chicago yeah? Don't think that worked out too well. James Harden started or was going to start something culinary in Houston but demanded a trade & people there ripped him & his restaurant apart  . Magic Johnson is in the restaurant biz also IIRC.

1. I "wash" (soak) my chicken in a vinegar/cool water mixture. I let that soak for about 10 minutes. I stir occasionally. I just use a deep glass Pyrex dish.

2. Remove chickens, and let them air dry; then I go over and pat dry with a Paper Towel

Yea, if you wash it the way folks "wash" it online then yes particles will get everywhere.

I do this + wipe the counter and sink with bleach

Gotta be honest, I think this is absolute nonsense and none of you could ever tell the difference in a blind taste test if the opportunity presented itself.

I've brined chicken before and I've never noted a "slime" or any difference in texture brined or not. Also don't know what the hell "rawness" means in the context of a cooked chicken.

What are you accomplishing by doing this?
When I use to buy Chicken from the store, they have slime or some sort of film when you seperate the skin from the meat and I also clean out the chicken back that have something bloody (not sure the right term). I also scrape off any feathers the store didn’t get. The heal of the leg have something I get rid of also. If I’m cutting up the chicken I get rid of the excess fat (yellow glob that look like caked up butter). Chicken do have a strong raw smell when get it from the store.

Getting chicken from a farm I noticed it does not have strong raw smell, slime, excess fat and they do a good job of making sure the inside cavity of the chicken is well cleaned. I still soak it in the sink in a glass bowl. I cleaned so much chicken that when I wash it, it does not splash anywhere but I still wipe the the counter with bleach and Clorox wipes.

Place I get chicken from:

Former NFL kicker Tony Zendejas owns and runs a mexican restaurant down in my area. Been there for a while. I mean, other than chain restaurants that celebrities/athletes own, can’t think of a stand alone restaurant that they opened been successful.
