How did you make those potatoe boats? They look
Anyone have some good recommendations for places to eat in the fairfax, VA area?
I baked the potatoes first, cut them in half, scooped out the insides, mixed the scooped potatoes with diced butter, sour cream, shredded cheddar, and salt/pepper. Put that mixture back in the potatoes then baked it until the cheddar melted then topped with more cheddar and green onions before serving. BAM!How did you make those potatoe boats? They look
thanks man. I've been to fairfax corner a few times. I love those deviled eggs at coastal flats, wish we had that restaurant up in pa. Will definitely check out the mosaic district though!

Turn those hot dogs horizontal on the grill grates to get those grill marks fool!
I can dig it.Did a ghetto rig to hook my BGE up to my charcoal BBQ/smoker for a cold smoke setup.
I wanted to cold smoke some salmon, so I could do lox with bagels for breakfast.
Salt, brown sugar, thyme and dill brined salmon. Also doing jerky marinated overnight with teriyaki sauce, pineapple juice, ginger, garlic, sake, and chunks of cut white onion. Going in overnight for 10-12 hours.
Then when it's about 2 hours or so left in the cook time. I plan on cold smoking some cheese.
