No love for fresh mushrooms?
Shrooms are on the rotation for me too. I don’t typically do more than two toppings on a pizza. Feel like after two it gets overly heavy and with veggie toppings, depending on the place, can end up making the pie soggy. So I rotate tomatoes, green peppers, onions, mushrooms by themselves or in combinations of two.

I hear ya. A one topping shroom pie is perfect to me.
 
Green bell pepper is one of the few ingredients that I find almost no value in.

I struggle to think of a dish where its addition improves anything.
 
So I prefer non-green bell peppers in basically any food context except pizza. For some reason I like the green bell/pizza flavor combo.

I like the smell/sight of them in dishes more than the taste. The taste isn't bad by any stretch but I think I like the concept of them more than I actually like them.
