Gyros are a pretty safe bet with simple ingredients. I usually go for a chicken souvlaki gyro with fries, tomatoes, onions, lettuce and tzatziki sauce which is a yogurt sauce that tastes sort of like sour cream.

Get some lamb/beef gyro meat and chicken souvlakia. That combo just hits different. I personally do platers over actual gyros. I’d try to find a Green spot but other Mediterranean variants are good too. The spicing it just different.

I don't know about other Greek spots, but the one I go to offers a mustard sauce that's like a mayo, mustard mix. My boy gets that with beef and he says it taste like a sandwich wrap.

The oven one is just laziness
A lot of the rest is nasty like not washing veggies and the cutting board or residual flavors from unclean pans

Have it at my house. Actually tastes like Old Bay. Good in Bloody Mary's. The "Bay Crush" they advertise on the bottle is solid too. Probably would be solid as an oyster shooter.

This always a good spot for good impressions. Restaurant right off the water and the food A1. Kinda high end with an alleged dress code but I’ve never been hassled with jeans and Nikes.

Order my mom a Jerk shrimp fried rice (she's pescatarian) and it was $28. Wasn't even a large platter. It came in like a small plastic meal prep size container.

Anyone have good food recommendations for the Tucson area? I'm from Seattle so any tacos, Sonoran hot dog or other spots unique to the area would be preferred.
We don't have Raising Canes round here so might go there one of the days lol, I'm there for four days next month.
