FOOD THREAD VOL. GRUB LIFE

Don’t know what blonde roast is
But it sounds sexy
That looks like a killer combo for coffee
Never got into exotic creamers

Never actually had a Cuban sandwich, but they look awesome.

Also don't have Picadillo Alvarez where I'm going, but that looks up my alley too. Here's what I'm working with:

Might just get the skirt steak whether it's the mofongo or the churrasco. Pernil and short ribs don't sound bad either.

yeah everything on the menu looks good.

They have sweet potato picadillo. I make this at home. Curious to how their taste.

I usually drink my coffee black with a few drops of flavor (usually peppermint or toffee) but I stole this from my mother in law. Might as well indulge.

I don’t know how some folks drink black coffee
I need sugar and cream
I do miss the smell of fresh brewed coffee

Black iced coffee with your favorite flavoring is great. It has a higher caffeine content than regular coffee and cream. Been trying to limit my caffeine intake but I've been known to sip on these throughout the night at work to stay sharp.

Where's this from? Looks good.

Noori in Niles
Sadly it looks like they are cutting corners with the chicken
Used to taste much better
The spot is pushing corn dogs really hard and I guess the chicken is taking a backseat
Damn shame
Probably won't order from them in the future
I will no longer support an establishment that puts more effort into corndogs than chicken

Don't like coffee. When I needed to stay awake to study in college i'd just take 2-3 espresso shots along with a few bottles of cola and some type of caffeine pills from the vending machine.

Coffee is another thing I wish I liked. Seems nice to sip on throughout the day

Only coffee I like is an iced caramel swirl with 3 cream 3 sugar from dunkies and at that point it’s barely even coffee
Got it like 5 times and I drank less than half each time

gonna be moving to San Diego in a couple weeks. any of y'all from there got any local recommendations that wouldn't be mentioned in most of the tourist trap articles/blogs/etc?
