I still remember my 1st NY slice in the BX from an Albanian spot. Extra cheese and pepperoni, almost lost it all holding it sideways, learned why the fold immediately, and burned the roof of my mouth. Magical.

2-day brine spatchcocked BBQ grilled chicken
Since Uber Eats has a 40% off delivery deal, I ordered Sunday lunch/dinner from Firebird Wood Fired Grill (thankfully I had the appetite for it LOL):
Wood grilled salmon (lunch portion) with key lime butter, parmesan mashed potatoes and green beans (it usually comes with spiced pecans, but I cannot do vegetables and nuts together)
BLT salad with spinach instead of lettuce and balsamic vinagrette dressing (Firebird's dressing is a little sweet for my taste, so I will try their cilantro lime vinagrette next time)
Chicken Tortilla soup with charred corn salsa
Big Daddy Lemon cake with raspberry sauce (it usually comes with blueberries and blueberry sauce, but I like raspberry and lemon together instead)

I noticed this with a few other foods. And sometimes food tastes better after it's a little cooled down.
Curries and stews always taste better after you let it sit in the fridge for a few days.

BK spicy chicken and deluxe.
The deluxe had the largest piece of chicken I've ever had on a sandwich. Wish I took a side profile. Besides that it sucked. No flavor and pretty salty. Damn near $8, never again.
Can't lie, the spicy chicken was good tho. Not spicy at all but the flavor was surpringly good. I ain't too mad it cost $6+.

Not a fan of the BK coating at all. It's not a fried chicken crunch, it's like an overcooked hush puppy crunch.BK spicy chicken and deluxe.
