FOOD THREAD VOL. GRUB LIFE

what kinda rice was used
what kind of quesadilla
was it home made
or store bought

A Knorr Spanish Rice mix cooked on the stovetop.

Homemade Quesedilla with plant-based “chicken” tenders that I simmer in salsa first to provide flavor, and a blend of Monterey Jack and Cheddar cheeses. A little Verde taco sauce to finish it off.

Were the cheeses also "plant based?"

If not, why not?

I am stupid.
I come in peace.

The cheese was not plant based. I don’t have a good reason other than I haven’t found any plant-based cheeses that I’ve really liked and that melted how I wanted. I’m still looking.

When you ask this what do you mean?

You do know where cheese comes from and how its made right?

You talking about grass fed cows?
He ate plant based chicken.

I am asking him if he ALSO used plant based cheese.

It would be odd to me to have plant based ingredients mixed with non-plant based materials.
