FOOD THREAD VOL. GRUB LIFE

The little girl clearly isn't doing it right. Hence the comment about needing help.

You probably don't deal with children a lot but the whole let them cook the meal is merely for show and just so they feel included. Rarely if ever can you give a child a task and not end up doing it over/properly.
What gives you the impression that I am unaware of that concept?

Really nothing terribly wrong with how that girl was cooking the onions, but filming your children and taking pictures of food on your plate are two completely different things as well.

You're both equally wrong, which I would amount to a net zero.

Just the general way you are.
Yea, non-answer.

I think any individual in this thread understands the reason why kids should be included in the process.

But yea, Create this idea that I was unaware.

Good attempted move though.

Put one in your backyard.

Something to do with the kids.

It so easy. Again, 24 months ago I knew ZERO
Today's Harvest

It is very simple. If you have space, you can grow.

Those with kids easy bonding moment

No. That's a direct view upon you.

Just cuz you dont like the answer doesnt mean it's a non-one.

I'm not talking about "why kids should be included in the process."

Seems like you made some sort of assumption.

I'm not creating any idea.

No moves are being made

I guess that is how I am.........

Got nothing to do with what I said but go ahead and keep quoting old posts so you can create this idea that it does.

So if you weren't referring to the, "Let them participate" portion, what were you referring to?

I don't want to make any assumptions.

I am still wondering how the child was cooking the onions incorrectly.

Master Zik Master Zik

To the part of the quote I posted.

Everything is there in my first reply.

What is so difficult to understand?

Can you not read? Or is this just a full display of a total lack of reading comprehension?

I already addressed that as well. I'm not playing this game where i have to repeat the same thing over and over for you to get it.

If you don't want to read and understand what is being said then keep wondering. I don't give a **** if it's that hard for you to get.

Saying she was inattentive and half-way doing it is not explaining what she is doing wrong. There is no explanation there at all.

Amazing you are able to tell she is being not being attentive from THAT clip.

But if that is the answer you are going with, cool.

C'mon man, the little girl is clearly ineffectively stirring together only 1/4th of the onions in the pan. She's like 2-3 y/o so I wouldn't expect her to possess the motor skills to do it successfully.

That aspect of the vid shouldn't even be debatable.

The part where she's not really doing it effectively.

Does inattentive have a different meaning now?
No, inattentive still has the same definition it has always had.

A person can be ineffective while being attentive.

Being attentive has to do with focus and paying ATTENTion.

Efficiency is how accurate the job is being done.

Efficiency and attentiveness are not the same thing.

My idea of “inattentive” is something like stepping away from the stove while cooking.

She was getting the job done just fine. It’s a pan of onions, not a risotto.

How NTers get in the swing of cooking more?

I eat out everyday... spending $1200+ a month on food by myself

:smh: :smh:

Any restaurant suggestions in Dallas and Houston?

:nerd: :nerd:

Imagine how much your yamb intake would increase if you learned and mastered how to cook?

Start simple. Find a cheap/easy food you enjoy and start making it, get acclimated to working with the stove top/oven/etc., gradually try harder/more complex recipes and use the internet. YouTube is a great resource.
