FOOD THREAD VOL. GRUB LIFE

^ kinda close minded to do that but hey do you
I mean folks might just not want a full meal from them, they just want the cheesecake.

But the food is good, IMO.

But I can see why someone WOULD just go for the cheesecake.

Every trip there doesn't need to be a sit-down entire meal

How is it close minded to go to a place for their specialty?

cheesecake factory specializes in cheesecake but they are not only good in that is what im saying... their other food is actually good... its not the same thing as me going to nathans hot dogs.... nathans only specializes in hot dogs and thats it...but like i said if thats all you care for in the cheesecake at cheesecake factory then cool... just saying but not trying anything else you missing out thats all

Sometimes we'll eat dinner one place then skip their dessert and go somewhere else because it's what you have a taste for, nothing wrong with that.

Do this often tbh.

Had Thai the other night and we bounced and went to a gelato spot for dessert.

the cheesecake factory is known for their cheesecake and might have one of the best in da game... but it would be silly to go there strictly and only for a cheesecake

Wait, what?

Going there for ONLY their cheesecake is the only reason why they're relevant in my world.

I don't **** w/ them for anything else.

*edit*

I don't care how extra the Saltbae dude is. Dude is entertaining :lol

I work at cheesecake

Y’all got any questions?
What’s the menu test like to be a server? I worked at Outback for a few years and they gave us a menu with picture of the dish with blank lines beside it to fill in the description  Outback’s menu wasn’t even big so I can imagine Cheesecake’s is a nightmare.

Scramble this morning
- eggs, cheese, pulled chicken, chorizo, potatoes, bell peppers, onions, cilantro, and salsa verde

Looks banging :emoji_sweat_smile:

Menu has a lot all we had to do was match the picture of the dish along with the name

Failed the first time but got a perfect score the second try

What do you recommend at Cheesecake Factory never ate there before?

I’m not a fan of the overall menu because they try to do too much

Apps that are popular are the avocado eggrolls, fried Mac and cheese, spinach dip and nachos. The chicken potstickers are surprisingly better than most Asian restaurants I been to

Entre-wise I’d go with the chicken Madeira any day and the Jamaican black pepper shrimp is actually spicy

Cheesecakes that sell the most are fresh strawberry, original, Oreo, Adams peanut butter fudge ripple and salted caramel

Menu is huge, overall to me the food is kinda wack

Steak Diane and Spicy Cashew Chicken are my go-to’s at cheesecake. I don’t go often because even my favorite dishes aren’t great but it’s on the lower level of the Hancock, where I work so it’s convenient for lunch sometimes if I have time to kill and it’s relatively inexpensive.

I’ve never eaten at a Cheesecake Factory or Olive Gardens.
Never had cheesecake factory either. Don't feel like I'm missing much though from pics.

Had olive garden once. Ehhh mediocore at best, if you live in a city with a sizeable Italian community better off going to an official Italian spot where nonna and nonno are doing the damn thing in the kitchen.

Going to Seattle for work for the next 3 days. I’m already expecting great coffee but hoping to come across some solid food options
