Oh I've bought the pack solely for the 6. And I think the sharpie looks pretty ugly. I'm was only attempting this cause no one else was going to do it. And hey if it worked I would've had me a better looking shoe imo and if it didn't I could've gone back with a sharpie and fix it. Even better use electrical tape. Lol

Yeah it took me 30mins with 20qtips just to get to that lol. Then I saw the rest of the stripes that had to be done and I tapped out. Atleast you can see its do able

put on gloves and use cotton swabs/cotton balls. much much faster than q-tips. q-tips r so tiny.

Buy some painters tape and tape off the areas that you don't wish to take the paint off of.

You can also use a file to scrape off the paint lightly.

if you can find the exact match for the blue on the shoe and if you also have a very very very steady hand, go for it.

the key thing IMO is to find the matching color, otherwise youre gonna have a blue foamposite with a slightly different blue stripes lol

the probably not the look youre looking for. im guessing u want a royal foam look

You're taking a shoe that came out of a $500 pack and putting it all in jeopardy with some silly nail polish? To each his own, but I'd buy another pair of 07 royals off eBay for 250ish

u can get a pair of DS royals in the 250 range? thought they cost more than that.

and a bottle of nail polish remover and 2 packs of cotton swabs cost way less than $250 (if u can even get DS royals for 250.....), so u can understand why people are trying to see if this option works out

DS royals, any year, are no where near $250.

be careful with that acetone, it might discolor the blue. I unthermal-ed a pair of thermals last year with great results, but i've seen others where too much acetone is a really bad thing.

My 2 cents....

Even at $300-350, it makes more sense to get older royals vs customizing the sharpies. There are definite differences between the sharpies and the older foams including the mold and the seems. Some of you guys really have to pear to search for deals and to identify sellers that are willing to wheel and deal. If they are listed on eBay at $350 shipped then you should be paying $315 shipped at worse if the seller is willing to negotiate non ebay invoices and the seller is established.

It was a good effort but STOP with the acetoning of the royals. The fact that blue has rubbed off means that you could have UNEVEN finishes between the blues. There could be a matted/faded blue effect where the black is now.

I don't understand why some of you guys say things are gonna sit... You do realize a lot of hypebeast are out there and long as its not stupid crazy color like pink elephant print, its gonna sell.

Sure you can still find some odd sizes like 13+ or stupid small like 8> But all the normal stuff are gone.
