Read the Autosport Article about this and it made me happy.

Each race will be treated like a bespoke event and a lot of the cast from BBC will be returning.

I just hope their website is good because that was the best thing about BBC having the license.

Didn't get to watch qualy since I'm stuck at work... Was it that bad? :\

It was much, much worse than "bad".  2hrs later and social media is still going on about it.  It has to change.   It was an embarrassment.

Just caught the replay. Not enough time to do a lap to respond :\

That's part of the problem... once that red 90-box hits your name and if you're still in the pits, you're done.  90 seconds isn't enough to do an outlap and COMPLETE your lap before it hits zero.  Unlike the norm of starting your lap before the checkered flag, you need to finish the lap before the timer stops.  

Then there was the issue of teams running out of/saving their tires.  Jenson and Fernando used two sets of Options in Q1 and were left with one set for Q2, hence they didn't do another lap.  Same for Ferrari... it was strategic.  Seb had enough time to change out of his overalls!

Qualifying was absolutely terrible.

Like Martin Brundle was saying, in a lap like Spa 90 seconds is not enough time to complete the lap.

Mercedes Pole lap 2.5 seconds faster than last year :x

Didn't think there would be big improvements in lap time this year but looks like they made a sizeable step.

They could've eliminated several drivers over 5 minute count downs.... but might as well go back to the usual qualifying.

About the lap time improvements... even McLaren was up 5 seconds from last year!

Anyway, looking forward to the race. Hopefully Ferrari's race pace is good so we have a good fight for the championship this season.

At least they said that they were pleasantly surprised as they were expecting they'd be lower down the grid... and that racepace should be better.
