as far as the hardrives go and the graphics cards you're correct. i mean the laptop itself (the envy) is still running windows. and windows runs hella slow when u start taking up space on the hardrive. 2TB of data? i doubt that laptop will last to see 2 TB. i have a 15" macbook pro i run virtual machines on it with windows xp sp2 it runs just fine. ill never own an envy so ill never know the real difference of between the laptops. enjoy your envy. i prefer my mac and osx in general, its just more reliable, easier to use, less buggy and less prone to viruses. respect though.Originally Posted by Guppetto

Um, I'm not sure if you actually read the spec sheet, but the ENVY has up to 2TB hard drives, 2 better Graphics cards in every Laptop than the garbage NVIDIA midgrade chipsets in the Pro line(ATI 5850/5650 and Intel HD chips) and processors that blow the Macbook Pro's out of the water. And while you can run Windows 7 on a Mac natively, it's slow. In fact, a virtual machine is often preferred over boot camp in most scenarios short of gaming.
Dude, not to be a #@%+, but reading is fundamental!

anyway, don't waste your time trying to convince people. fanboys are called fanboys for a reason, nothing in the world will change their mind. companies could drop a *+$# on their door step and they'll be in love with it.
and this nvidia card on my MBP is a POS. i think that's one of my biggest beefs with Apple, you can't do anything to the computer (system wise) without them authorizing it first. can't update drivers individually, or roll back to past drivers that actually worked.
ATi FTW, got an Asus 5870 in my gaming PC

-The first bolded part is wrong, either you don't know what you're talking about, or you stated what you were trying say wrong, or you making stuff up. Windows doesn't slow go just because the HDD fills up.Originally Posted by BoredONE1
