Again, can anyone recite a hot Eminem bar? Don't recall a song where his flow was ill, i'm talking a hot bar that you had to rewind and go " did he really just say that how does he come up with this stuff" ?

Em in 2001-2003 ? Sure.....eminem hasnt been hot since madden and nba live were the best sports games.....let that sink in
No. He's nowhere near as good as people perceive him to be. People just really dig his cadence imo.Again, can anyone recite a hot Eminem bar? I think people are confusing skill with actual output. Everyone knows Em can rhyme, but he chose to eff around & be the clown. As a result, his albums were not what they should be.
If pure skill was the only criteria, than Canibus & Super Natural would be in everyone's top 3.
He is a career underachiever IMO.
And how the eff is G Rap not better than Em???
Son being overrated in hip hop is nothing more than a byproduct of white supremacy. In a battle he ain't killin ish but Benzino and Ja Rule, maybe even a washed up Cannibus. I mean em is cool, for the jokes and what not, but homie ain't no damn Nas lets be real here.I thought it was well known he's the best ever. He's sold far more albums than anyone and would annihilate your favorite rapper in a battle. Im not really a fan of his music and there's a bunch of people I'd rather listen to though. I also never enjoyed his production but If you're looking at albums sold+skill then nobody is even remotely close.
He had the Dr Dre machine behind him to sell records plus his corny singles to move so many unitsI thought it was well known he's the best ever. I'd rather listen to Nas all day but that doesn't change anything. Nobody is going after Em. Just go to YouTube type in your favorite rapper and what they think about Eminem. Everybody knows but I still can't listen to any of his projects start to finish. I don't need to be a fan to understand how good he is.Son being overrated in hip hop is nothing more than a byproduct of white supremacy. It was two people that couldn't properly mount a diss track which made them harmless in this context. Gucci absolutely should've been wrecked, but he wasn't. That man Em is a fraud. Is Gucci even worth a response tho? The other two are multi platinum selling artists.

Like saying someone is the best running back because they're the fastest or have the most carries.
Hip hop has never been about who sold the most. It was often who was the wackest(Hammer, Vanilla Ice, Tone Loc, Young MC)
Hate to bring race into but you're right, only thing that separated him from white rappers who came before him and also sold a ton of records, is that he actually could rap. But does that necessarily mean he's the best? No, hell no!Like saying someone is the best running back because they're the fastest or have the most carries.

Right
Or like saying Karl Malone is a better basketball player than Jordan because he scored more career points.
Or Jerry Stackhouse being the best player in '00 because he led the league in scoring.
Em sold because he's white, good, respected and had Dre/interscope Machine behind him. Em was a really good rapper for about a 5 year stretch early in his career.
