Ebay shipping out of country vol. help an nter out

Hey there is a buyer from Australia that want's to buy one of my items, it's a beat machine around $900. Is there any way I can get scammed shipping to Australia? I've also never shipped out of the country, is it a big hassle? Thanks to any fellow nters who help out

tracking is way too expensive, and without tracking you can get scammed

dont ship via USPS, make sure it has online tracking and signature if its 250+ also insure the item, only ship to address provided in payment (if paid via paypal). with all the hassle and possible problems or scams its not a good idea. Australia is not a country typically associated with scams/fraud but you never know.

When I do ship out of the country I always use paypal to make the label, that way paypal knows I shipped the item.

And I ONLY ship express mail. No exceptions.

Express Mail automatically comes with a tracking number.

Whatever you do make sure there is signature confirmation on the package!!

Paypal does not cover packages w/o sig. confirmation on items over $250.

That means using USPS is not your best option.

It will be about $30. If you ship USPS it will take a few days longer than UPS but UPS is a lot more expensive. Make sure to get some additional insurance and you'll be good.

i shipp everywhere,, just call paypal n ask them how u can protect yourself when shipping outside of the states,

when you create the label... make sure the label is on at least 4 sides of the box.
