Eating Peoples Food At Work

We clean the fridge out every friday.
My job grimey, the building fridge gets cleaned out like twice a year max ...Ppl just keep piling food on top of old **** like they don’t see it :lol :{ ... Forunately there’s anther fridge for our office/department that’s used by less ppl and food gets eaten/taken back/thrown out almost daily

Some guy at work was eating stealing people's food and they fired him. He has fired something unrelated, but that also came out around the same time. I don't put anything in the work fridge. Also, cool with one of the directors in the office, so I put my food in their personal refrigerator.

I have no tolerance for people that take other people's food without asking , that's not family

its happened a few time to me in my dept
where ill leave a drink in the fridge and it get eaten
BUT each and everytime it has happened
I'll send a REAL passive aggressive email
cc'd to all my coworkers and manager
its only like 10 of us in the dept
and the next day my drink will be replaced by another
so its all good
i dont mess with other folks food in the fridge though
EVER

How you know they didnt just sample your Sunkist?

I know people who normally do this at grocery stores, no biggie.

There's a real popular saying, "If it's a community fridge, then it's community food."

Good general rule of thumb.

I used to work at Home Depot and dude in my department used to steal this white lady's lunch with no shame...

Then used to come back to outside garden and tell us how good it was that day... dog was in love with her chicken salad lol

Wild times...
at my previous job, there was an employee that would pretty much bullied this lady. he'd even throw her **** out if it stayed in the fridge a couple days or eat it at times. he never did that stunt to anyone else that i know of. she finally went off on him when she moved on. sucks cause he was buddies with the owner

current job-small office, everybody follows the rules. work in the restaurant industry, so we have a good amount of food that comes back to the office which everyone can help themselves to

Not all of us start our first couple jobs coming from a wealthy household.

that sounds like a you problem b/c damn near everyone I knew who started like that got out there and got it on their own.

and they for damn sure wasn’t eating someone’s leftovers.

Eating someone else’s food Is disrespectful, and if you’re going to do it at least be a man about it and tell that person you ate their food

Don’t be a coward and be sneaky about it

2 things in life I never mess with is someones family or their food

I've never taken anyone's food, and thankfully, I don't recall having my food taken from work. :nthat:

On a somewhat unrelated note, at a place I used to work at, we had a rule about locking your laptop if you left it out in the open. If you didn't, anyone on the team could email the team distribution list saying something like "lunch is on me" and the person who owned the laptop would have to buy.

 we did that to this guy who always leaves his computer unlocked.

We sent one to all of us in the dept saying "hey guys, lunch is on me tomorrow. Any suggestions?" So we all responded wth suggestions. Man came back seen the emails and flipped out, talking bout "ive been hacked!"

We're all dying. He says hes going to HR, leaves then comes back and says wheres HR? our manager had to tell him it was him that played the joke.

Tears were shed tho

At every job ive worked at, i monitor the refrigerator and keep a mental inventory of whats there. Certain things, if its been there for 3-4 days ill start nibbling a little off day by day. Say theres a KFC bucket, ill eat 1 chicken breast per day, until its gone.

Packaged things, i generally wait a full 2 weeks...came up on a Banquet "MEGA" bowl the other day, Chicken Mac and Cheese + Jalapeno Pepper. We have like a 50:50 ratio of direct hires to temps, so sometimes people bring stuff in and never come back.

Ive gotten some unpleasant surprises tho...when i first started the job i noticed there was a Stouffers turkey dinner that had been sittin in the freezer for a while. So one day i heated it up, and midway thru the cycle im noticing the nauseating smell, but think perhaps my mind might be playing tricks on me. When i tauke it out, the decay hits ya boy full force...:wow::sick::sick:. I peep the expiration date and see Nov 2018.

But yeah, i stay eating up like its a feast. Any other break room scavengers on NT?
Nah b...this is scum bag ****

If someone's eating my damn food at work, I'm leaving a pie in there laced with sleeping pills. Then I'm going out for my lunch. Good luck.
