DUI appreciation

ive driven drunk impaired, but i have a great ability to focus and I don't really do the swerve thing like i see most folks do when its clear there's adrunk driver on the road. even with that said when you sit down by yourself and just think about the quality of a life you come to realize how bad it is. ivehonestly sat there and thought about the quality of a life...especially like a child's. not because i was frightened from a close scare or witnessing anaccident. but actually sit there and think about if one of your young family members or any loved one for that matter fell victim to a drunk driving accidenthow crushed and unfair it would seem. that will keep you up off that drunk driving shhh and if not, you need to question your morals. maybe it takesmaturity over the years but honestly just sit down and think about it. /preaching

And you thought NT was gonna embrace you for this?

Most people have been in a situation where they shouldn't have driven home and realized it after they have gotten home.

Most people LEARN from that mistake and don't do it anymore.

But come on man...tryin to brag about something that more often than not ends in tragedy? Grow up.
Learn from their mistake??

Tell that to the guy that hit my uncle 2 1/2 summers ago killing him and injuring my 8 year old niece. She had to get her left leg amputated. All because ofsome irresponsible dude that could have called a cab, a family member, or a friend to come put him up, but he chose to drive and changed my family forever.THERE ARE OPTIONS!!!!! Hell, you can sleep in your car til the alcohol wears off and then drive home in the morning.

Records show this dude had a dui 4 years ago. Did he learn??NO!!!

Am I over reacting? Hell no!!

I think it's absolute BS that these people get off with nothing but a DUI when it affects families to the extent it affected yours, and reallyto any extent. I'm sorry for your loss and for the life changing injury sustained by your niece. I'm in no way justifying drunk driving but at the sametime to wish a slow death upon anyone who has gotten behind the wheel impaired is a little overboard.

Like I said, I've done it and I'm not proud of it by any means. You take on a certain responsibility when you decide to go out drinking and some peopledon't realize that.

So all you clowns can cut the BS about hoping drunk drivers die a slow death because I'm sure all you critics know at least one person they love whose driven on sleep deprivation. The only difference between the 2 is that one's against law.

I thought NT was full of righteous souls who could read between the lines when it came to the B.S. that people try to force down your throat, but I guess I was wrong.

archive your response and post it when you see a "Sleep driving appreciation" thread homie

Exactly how I feel. I now realize the one only true remedy for not driving drunk/ buzzed is not drinking. Which makes very little sense whenyou're hanging out at Sports Bars.

I created a two post like this in the past, and the funny thing is - the first post (which was over 3 years ago) was full of individuals who admitted that theyhave been in dificult situations w/ drunk driving, and have done so. The second post was full of individuals who just straight up flamed...But I cannot faultthe latter, Lord knows one of my greatest fears is someone taking out one of my love ones due to drunk driving, I think that is enough to keep me from drivingdrunk.

..I actually was so drunk two weeks ago, I just went to sleep in my car.
