Traditionally, pleated pants are cuffed, flat-front pants are not. However, that's just a bare-bones theory like shoes-belt-matching. I'm sure you canstray from it a little bit and be fine. For me, I prefer not to cuff because it makes me look shorter.

Im starting an internship at a physiotherapy clinic in may and I need a pair of everyday leather shoes. The dress code is mostly khakis and a dress shirt or apolo.

Any suggestions?

You can get one of the AE by Allen Edmonds I posted a few pages back. They are $199.99 each but I am sure those will go on sale, most likely before May ataround $100 each so if you can wait, grabs a pair (or two) of those. They also have rubber soles so it's pretty comfortable and having traction should helpas I know some clinics require rubber soles shoes at times.

Johnston & Murphy is also a good brand and they are usually on sale most of the time as well.
I absolutely detest Cole Haan but it is also one of your choices. In fact, Cole Haan is having a 30% off deal on their sale stuff at their website right now.

for real? i have both my black one-button and navy two-button uncuffed, but i'm considering cuffing the new gray suit... i think gray would take well to anice smaller cuff since it's such an iconic 40's-50's tone. I dont know how you guys are going to like them, but for me they are straight fire. Just got them for about 60$, so they are not breaking the bank anyway,and I think its good to have them. They are model is called "meet the parents" and are made by K1X - a german urban company. They come in differentcolors too.
