I much rather prefer the fit of a Lacoste polo than a RL polo, nowadays. I absolutely HATE the tail present on almost every RL polo. I bought a Perry Ellis polo the other day that fits decent. I'm thinking Original Penquin would suit my tall slim frame best.

For tall and slim frame, I find Burberry slim fit polos best. For me, I find Marc Jacobs polos fit very well.
I am actually looking for a navy cotton polo, not pique though, just smooth and soft cotton polo that fits well.
Close to what Daniel Craig wore in Casino Royale.

Matt53, are you looking for a buttoned cardigan? GAP has some zip-up cardigans and theres a 25% off coupon floating around, just google it.
J Crew also has several cardigans in the $75--$85 price range.

Speaking of GAP, I kind of like this v-neck sweater. Very Gucci-esque, although I doubt the fit will be similar.

MilanClothing.com is the cheapest place to buy it from and use Milan10 for an extra 10% discount.
Their $362 @ Milan Clothing and with the 10% discount, goes down to $330 + $25-$30 for shipping (from Europe) it would cost about $360-$370 + if you getcharged with customs fee.
That is a good price considering the PS Bihars retail for $575 + tax then it is easily $600+.

Not bad at all. Thanks for the info man. I think these might be the ones

I say try it on first if you can because it fits enormously.
I wear a 9.5-10 in Nikes/Jordans and UK7.5-UK8 in Paul Smiths and I got the Bihars in a UK7 and still has plenty of room.
I could go with a UK6.5 without a problem for the perfect fit with dress socks, but that's because I also have a wide feet.
But if my feet were narrow, a thick socks with UK6.5 would just be right, maybe even UK6 with dress socks.

For sure, I'm definitely going to do a bit more research. I'm usually a 10-10.5 in Nikes/Converses and I always assumed just size down a full size forboots. Guess I'll be making a trip to Neiman Marcus for a fitting.

RFX, what store can I go to locally to try on the 514, and 511 trousers/twill pants?

I think you or someone else mentioned Pac Sun and Urban Outfitters a few pages back?

Macy's... Maybe? Lol.

I'd really like to know how they fit.

Thanks in advance.

PacSun or UO are your best bets. I have not seen any of the trouser pants at Macys.

You are looking for sneakers in particular?
Here's my go to sneakers:

I could post more but most might not be appropriate for this thread or at least not everyone's number choice.

I have those multi-eyelet JV Chucks but in this used, yellowed sole version. Very nice shoes although the elastic laces can be a pain

That actually is the yellowed soled chucks, the flash just makes the sole white.
As for the laces, I just tie them up with a double knot and wear the shoes like slip-ons.
I never unlace them.

I shopped there all the time while living there this past year.

I'm going to Gap this weekend to try to find that sweater... hopefully, it won't look like some Giants memorabilia in person.

it depends on the number of buttons on the jacket ... the rule is never button the last button of a jacket, unless its a 1 button, for a 2 button never buttonthe bottom jacket, but you can button the first one. for a DB ... if its a 6x2 like this one, the first two are just show buttons, so you treat it like a 2button jacket, button the top one and leave the lower one.

hope that made sense.

great combo as usual Niidawg. What socks do you wear?
I like the striped pattern that I only usually find with Paul Smith or certain Banana Republic socks.

Also, 20% off F&F sale at bloomingdales. Online code is "FandF".
Bloomingdales.com has Red Wings boots too to those interested.

I just got boots but I might jump on this JV boots, I've had my eye on it for a while now.
Looks much better in person that in the pic.
