Dressing Better Vol 2.0

Thinking about coping some Clarks. Are the soles hard?

Hell yeah they are lol.

Pretty sure there is a market for the upper and a more athletic cushioned bottom like boosts or lunarlon

Anyone can ID this jacket Charlamagne is wearing? Looks regular but I like the cut and color.

It's time that I invest in a pair of botts on rainy work days lol

Since Boost, I think cushioning has kinda jumped the shark. As much as the squishiness of Boost or Hoka or On Cloud (yuck) shoes may be appealing, you can't convince me that that level of instability is anything but negative. Material quality, fit, stability, and some sort of arch support are much more important to me, and are better for my feet/ankles/lower legs in general (in my experience). Something that is predominately leather will better form to your foot and provide as much or more comfort in the long run, though these types of footwear reward you for sticking with them through a break-in period, and don't provide the immediate comfort that a UltraBoost or Crocs would.

entered my 30’s and looking to go beyond just sneakers

homie at Nordstrom hooked it up with these yardee moccasin loafers from vinny’s for $60
Funny thing..... had a phase of racking up suits and shoes and dressy part of the wardrobe...and it was a time of weddings and such. Now years later most age mates are already married so less weddings and such. Did recently buy some Jcrew Ludlow tassel black leather loafers and Ludlow brown suede derbys at great prices. 🤷🏾‍♂️

Be careful bro they’re addicting. Sometimes I have to fight myself to throw sneakers on with a casual fit because the loafers keep calling to me.
