Dressing Better Vol 2.0

Just got in two Samuelsohn Suits for a new gig , love the quality and the fit.

I want a Samuelsohn (despite my work never requiring me to wear a suit)...

i keep missing out on my local retailer's annual sale that gets them to the prices below...i dont think i could stomach paying full price :ohwell:

Yeah, I paid 950 for mine (the other was gifted)

@ 695 it's a no brainer, no suit- even at 1k price-point comes close imo.

What is your guys opinion on the tie bar?
Its supposed to go third to fourth button attached to the shirt.
But i never seen anyone actually attach it to the shirt

I don't really like them, but yeah, isn't the whole point of it to attach it to the shirt?

My tie bar def attaches to my shirt, and yeah that’s the whole point of one...

Y'all know a tie bar keeps it from moving around right? Like when it's windy it's not flying around :lol

tie bars are trash.

I’ve worn ties for work for years in the past and never had a tie get that out of place where it was unacceptable without a tie bar.

The anti-tie bar movement in this thread is interesting. Years ago people loved a bunch of accessories and wearing tiebars.

Kinda wish I had a tiebar when I was a groomsman at a wedding recently. Had to run around a lot and was constantly adjusting my tie for pictures.

I’ll wear a tie bar every once in a while but I find them to be a pain in the ***. I’m a perfectionist so when I wear one I always find myself looking down to make sure it’s straight.
