edit: also find a silhouette that you like. whether it's a pointier toebox, higher heel for a more dressier occasion or a crepe sole, round toebox, shorter/taller boot height etc. you can even dress the pointier toebox/higher heel down as well. would definitely recommend with black skinnies and not a big fan of distressed denim.
