As stated, I think Common Projects have the best silhouette and sleekest profile. You could also check out the Wings + Horns low top sneaker, Acne Adrian sneaker or some Lanvins. Pound for pound, I think CP's may be the best though, but I'm biased anyway.

i like those black ones as well. common projects all white low tops are def one of the goats in my book. just looking for a more friendly to the wallet alternative or a sale on cp.

Tres-Bien is my go to for CP's. When (if) they restock for next season they can be had for around $300. If you're lucky, they'll run that 25 euro off code again and you can stack with the VAT discount.

You're following in RFXs footstep. Won't be too long until you wear Rick.

This fashun thing can spiral out of control quick. That's why you gotta adhere one aesthetic and lock down the wallet.

expand on this bro...not the RFX part, but the second part of ur post. What do you mean spiral out of control..financially? or something else...and also... adhering to one aesthetic. What u mean...one look per person? just curious .

SLP low top white shoes aren't half bad... not sure if that'll help with the price problem tho...

Yes, financially. When you already have one look down, ie menswear, you get bored. in Adrian's case, he started buying lux kicks, higher end streetwear brand. In my case the last 1-2 years, I started buying sneakers again. It adds up, but you don't really see it. $200 here, $300 there, but the thousands do sum up.

Adhering to one aesthetic, ie just stick to one boring look...well it's boring, but it's good for the pocket. I sold all of my sneakers, only have two pairs left, and a lot of other clothes I rarely wear, ie my Thom school boy blazer, and Aldens are sold too. I don't even cop stuff on the whim anymore where as before I would do impulse buys like crazy especially when there are sales on Yoox or MR Porter or whatever.

info on the pants?

I'm done with major menswear purchases until I'm ready to go bespoke (maybe later this year).

For now, I'm venturing different avenues.

This is very true.

I have a uniform.

Gray shirt, black jeans, and my leather Macallisters.

Pretty much wear this everyday to school - people think I'm wearing the same shirt though :lol

I have a used pair of AE Mcallisters, walnut, size 8.5D, they are 2nd quality. Giving away if interested

I picked up a few GAP x John Elliott+ U-Neck Baseball tees on sale. Anybody need an oop?

Been a big John Elliott fan for a while. Never checked this thread for JE conversation. Normally stick to SF for information.

Super excited about S/S 15 dropping shortly. Could easily name 6 pieces i'm going to cop.

My first purchase from them was the Black Villain from season 2 I believe and its held up great. I will say my newer villains don't feel as sturdy.

I thoroughly enjoy my two JE pieces and likely will cop a grey crew or pullover hoodie at some point.

However, I know that I will be over paying as the quality is not really worth the price (even on sale). However, the fit is fantastic. Hence me entertaining another purchase.

SF is undoubtedly the best source of JE information since JE is an SF Insider and responds directly to members questions in the affiliate thread.

I was one of, if not, the first to post JE in here. I knew that it didn't exactly fit the traditional menswear DB motif. But the clothes do have a nice, tailored fit and are very comfortable for casual wear. I was hooked after my first purchase and thought other NTers would like the brand as well.

I know my fit from last night wasn't everyone's style but that's ok. I wear my sweats the same way I wear my jeans now...skinnier than in the past. I actually like the look and feel even though some will call them leggings.

Got that JE villain crew neck in black (M).
Sell it for 30% off.

Holla back.
