Givenchy has some strange pieces, but so do almost all of these high-fashion labels. Just take a look at Saint Laurent - the label is without a doubt the "it" label right now, but they put out stuff like this:

I'm a small dude so I can get away with getting some stuff in the boys section. The sweater is from Zara.....boys section lol.

Elbow patches on sweaters are old news. It's been a regular for close to a decade now.

I'm not too crazy about the leather patches on the elbow, but I agree, they have been a thing for a while now.
