Anyone hit the jcrew sample sale in NYC? It's going on til Sunday at 25th/5th. They actually have good inventory this time. 25% off outerwear, denim and pants. Managed to get alot of steals buy borrowing an associate discount and getting 50%. They have Thomas mason shirts for $25. Chinos for $20etc

I've only gone to one sample sale, and it was for Rock & Republic. This was in 2007 or so. Line was pretty long. When you get in, it was a huge warehouse with bunch of tables. Lots of dudes were there to flip.

The mens sample sale is separate from the womens. No line. go there first thing in the morning when they are fully stocked or later in the day when they maybe restock. They had alot of Wallace and Barnes and suiting as well. Suiting is a hit or miss because its hard to get the matching set. Only things i buy from the J.Crew sample sale over the years to potentially flip are selvedge jeans, wallace and barnes, and thomas mason. If you are really slick you can get some pieces with the store tags still on it and reorder the size you want and say you got the wrong size. 2x this year J.Crew sent me the wrong items legitly, so its worth a shot.

Yah, Pinoy732, your casual style has changed drastically..in a good way. I feel you rock stuff that you wouldn't have endorsed previously...You went from the Don Draper look to Kanye West lol. More age appropriate and more relatable to how I dress. Skinny jeans, boots or sneaks, button up or long T and a hoodie. That is a good look and a good change in style. Thumbs up fam

Went to sample sale earlier, if you wear pants above a 34 or tops above medium it's not worth your time. They do have plenty of outerwear items though in all sizes, but I didn't need any outerwear. I copped the only thing I saw worth purchasing that was Large and it was a cashmere sweater. Debating on whether to keep it though.
