Dressing Better Vol 2.0

Oh and sizing seemed to be similar between the two. JCrew Ludlow has odd sizes for their staples, though (like 39R).

can someone compare Jcrews factory thompson suits to the ludlow suits? in respect to sizing and quality
Here's a review dappered did: http://dappered.com/2012/07/in-person-j-crew-factory-thompson-worsted-wool-suit/

I have a JCrew Ludlow, but not a Factory Thompson (have tried them on in store). To me, the Ludlow drapes a little better and fits a little less boxy, but the wool of the Thompson was pretty good for the price point (can be had for <200 on sale sometimes).
thanks

About to wear my Ferragamo belt for my friend's bday tonight :hat
Salvadoring it :hat

Has anyone been to the outlets lately?

I haven't had any luck with discounted socks lately. May make the 60 mile drive to my outlets on Saturday to look for some.

Ah got it. I don't have any experience with the chino suits. I was talking about the worsted wool ones. From what I've seen in store, the chino material isn't that great on either, but if you're set on one of them, it might just depend on how much you want to spend. Also, I don't really like center vent coats, but that is my personal preference.

Sneakerboy is doing 70% off sneakers on their website. They had MMM replica trainers for $150-170 but they were all sold out by the time I checked...might still be some gems lying around but probably too late now.

:eek if they had my size in those gold high top SLPS :{

Ferragamo is meh to me.

Please don't come back with one of those foolish belts :lol

I've never understood the obsession with these belts. I see people wearing them all the time and it seems so boring to me. But then again, i'm not partial to belts with those type of buckles.

Hate this one:
700

Although, I do like this one:
700

I know it's the same design (sort of), but I like how this seems more sleek and less blocky like the other one you'd see more often.

I wanted one badly in undergrad. I think there's even reversible ones too.

If you do cop just don't pay retail.

I hardly ever see those Ferragamo belts go for less than retail. Any tips? I'd only cop if it was on sale :lol

As I get older, I spend less money on kicks, and instead use that money on $200 designer T-shirts and polos. Bad habit just got worse lol

For those who wear a shirt/tie to work daily... what type of undershirts do you wear?

400

So after I asked about wearing the pocket square and lapel pin, I decided to try out this past weekend. Just a quick phone shot.

Maybe it's the blur but that knot looks atrocious.  Otherwise, swaggy?

Don't like the first belt I posted, because I see it all too often. But I do like the sleeker buckle I posted in the 2nd picture. I agreed with Wis when he said to try to cop on sale. I wouldn't buy something I'm not crazy about for retail.

Thats all I meant.

Got some stuff from UNIQLO. One thing I really like is the t-shirt hoody. Super comfortable t-shirt thickness in a hoody.

how are the thompson pants waist sizes? not sure if i should size down if they run that big. i know that its really "straight fit" pants when it comes to width/length but do waist sizes run true?
