Ugh, Dalmatians.
All the women in my life loves horses, so therefore they love Dalmatians.
At their very best, those spotted beasts are lean and flatulent. Then they get older, and become extremely fat and extremely flatulent.
They were bred to accompany and protect stage coaches that were full of treasure. So those dogs like being around horses and will viciously fight those who impede the movement of the horses.
No one is going to rob us when we ride horses in 2025. We don't need those beasts.
But at this point they are a part of an equestrian lifestyle (to which, I say, ya know, we have cars) and they are smart and empathetic creatures. So they knock over my smaller children (who seem to love it) and I feed them lots of extra food because, whatever, they are part of the family.
