They're not your regular ol' dns names. An address looks something like this http://kpvz7ki2v5agwt35.onion/wiki/index.php/Main_Page

In a nutshell, deepweb are private servers that anyone can get to if they know where to look/what to type in. The problem is(as stated before) you can get yourself into a world of trouble quick if you're just clicking away on things.

If you're completely sane, what's wrong with a little curiosity? I wouldn't think they'd really throw down the gavel just for looking around a bit. Right? Unless something is purchased, swapped, discussed, or acted upon, what can really be done to you? From a legal standpoint. I don't even wanna know the damage that can be done by the criminal geniuses out there.

Having said that...I'm not trying to make the first move

Well, for starters, by using networks like TOR your computer becomes one of the "bouncers" so if child porn is on the reciving end of some perv who was actualy conected thru your machine it puts suspicion on YOU.

Other dangers are - sensitive information like bank logins and stuff since all your data is bouncing from machine to machine it can be intercepted.

Half of you fools ain't even got an antivirus on your computer. Don't snoop around.

When it comes to things like that, the less you know, the better. I'm a network admin myself and i won't dare mess with deepnet. If i won't, what should that tell y'all who don't even know how to use a computer past firefox and itunes?

your computer becomes one of the "bouncers"
Your computer is always a bouncer since the internet consists of computers networked together.

That said, if you know what you're doing then deep/invisible/dark web is something to explore rather than fear.

one of my associates told me about the deep web.

he is now serving 2 years in federal because of his machine being used a pass-thru to perv materials. they had a 30 page binder, so to say, about him and had every site he's visited plus the duration of his time on the site.

can you explain a pc being used as a "bouncer"?

if you're not running a server how are you bouncing info back?
