Just reached the one year mark with my apcs. Time flew by.

Looking for a solid pair of light denim to squeeze in my rotation. Any recommendations? Trying to avoid mall brands.

would that be considering bleeding and how to do get this out if possible

Just purchased some indigo cords weird guys, on the tag it says it fades like jeans, anyone cop these before? They fit great, but does it live up to the tag?

Not really a question about denim since I got my fabric, but making my own pair of jeans (part of an apparel class) and want to know if yall got any tips/ tricks when making em. My teacher specialized in women's wear, and she barely knows how men's jeans are measured lol, so i might need some help with the fit.

Going for a fitted/slim tapered looked.

Also went to Traveller Denim in Austin and was blown away by their jeans. Prices range from $250 RTW to $500+ for custom selvedge, but the owner had a pair 9 months old, worn (nearly everyday, washed 3 times), another work had a pair 1.5 years old and they both look immaculate.

What do you mean by mail brands.

I am new to denim, never really cared much ... Never was willing to spend more than $100 on jeans, but I am in the market for a pair of light denim as well. Budget is $200 .. Maybe something with that destroyed look to them, just not OD.

Any brand/style suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I am 6 ft 5 200 lbs ... Yes, I am skinny lol.

Wouldnt do it with my RRLs, but I pinroll my lighter wash Zara jeans.

I'm European if that matters

Anywhere still selling Saint Laurent waxed denim? And what was retail? I can't seem to find an accurate price.

Never heard of pinrolling. Was wondering why the leg opening of some guy's jeans in the wdywt thread looked like they were tightened to his ankles with a rubberband. I already know what shoes i'm wearing, no need to show everyone else.

Hey whats up guys! So I had a question for anyone that has purchased any APC black raw denim before and what the effects are regarding stretching and regular wear (will get into my question below). Here is a link to the pants:www.mrporter.com/en-us/mens/apc/petit-standard-slim-fit-dry-selvedge-denim-jeans/439083 The reason I am asking is that as you can see these are the PS. I wear a 29 in raw indigo PNS and a 29 in the washed once indigo PNS. I ordered the 29/30 of the PS. I can put both on and button both up, however the 30 looks like it fits overall a little better. It is nowhere near as loose in the waist on me as the 30 PNS would be, however this is where I am nervous –How much will these stretch as compared to what my indigos have stretched? I would not want a ton of stretching on the blacks, however I could deal with some.Another reason I am asking is that the black jeans do not feel like the raw indigo or even the washed once indigo, they are very smooth and feel almost like butter when on, so for that reason (and knowing the dye is different then the indigo), I was wondering if the stretching would be the same, and I should just suck it up and go with a 29 and break them in. Thanks for all the help!

For anybody still looking for a nice light/stonewash pair idk if you care about stretch denim or not but I got this pair from river island

Any retailer/online company that professionally tailors raw Selvedge denim and/or distressing denim (rips, etc..)

I'm scared to take my denim in to get tapered or hemed after hearing many people having the Selvedge finish ruined by inexperienced tailors

Nah bruh that button alone makes it a pass for me. Looks too much like girl pants
