What's up with Rudy Gay? Not feasible for us to try to get him?

lol i started association on 2k13 traded pau and blake for gay and bayless. team pretty beast in the game now. I forced the trade cause in real life Mitch also forces the trades

Lakers are interested in Dante Cunningham

-Tweener-forward.
-Solid defender. Best defense is on P&R, and help defense.
-Offensively he's extremely limited. But can play in transition. And if he gets the ball close he almost always makes it, but can't shoot the 3. And is mediocre for midrange shots.
- Expends a lot of energy on the floor.

sounds like a more mobile artest but with no offense
unless he is ultra althletic, I don't know why they are interested in him

No to Dante Cunningham

We need a guy who can also shoot to stretch the floor a little bit

Did Mitch tell Memphis to give us Rudy Gay yet? He better hurry up mane

damn I'm going to miss the game tomorrow :{

I hate my job

I used to make my schedule requests revolve around the Laker schedule at work.
Now I dont even care if I miss the game or not.
Rather be makin that for sure money than miss out on it for a not for sure W.
Work for T-Mobile and Sundays are busy. Commision FTW.

I get paid no commission.. And the pay I do make sucks.. And I hate my boss, the place I work at, the customers I deal with, and half my co-workers..

I'd rather miss out on money, and do what I want.

He is cheap cost.. And what we need is defense...

And Mitch is still trying to get Josh Smith...

From the looks of it... Mitch & Jimmy are trying to make Nash, Kobe & Dwight as the main options on offense.. And Metta, Jamison and a couple other people contributing.

With Kobe (playing on ball), Metta, Cunningham, JSmith, Clark, Dwight holding it down defensively...

Can't say I don't like the direction they are looking. Offense will always be there. Especially under MDA's scheme.. But anchoring the defense with guys who love defense as much as they love offense will do us wonders.

lol we are not getting josh smith so put an end to that.

especially without throwing in earl clark.

atlanta is not that dumb

The way the story in Atlanta is continuing is that dealing Josh is becoming more of a possibility.. At the beginning of the season it was 0% chance. Now it's about 60/40 that they have to.

And with that unless someone blows them away with Picks + Gems they want a veteran All-Star in return. And the teams that are interested only one team has a veteran All-Star that could contribute.

The other teams interested
Dallas - Unless they trade Mayo and multiple picks it won't happen...
Houston - Asik would be the main piece, but after that nothing particularly enticing..
Boston - won't trade Pierce for Josh. And nothing else they have will help them.
Milwaukee - Could definitely pull off the trade... But honestly, they know they'd just be renting him. Likely would have to part with Jennings.
Toronto - Bargs has 1/4 of the value Pau has. And assuming they include Calderon (they are no better than they are at PG)

Lakers would include Pau.. And including Clark would mean that the Hawks have to include someone else because the money gap would be far too much.. And the Lakers would either ask for Korver or Morrow.. More likely Korver (Sam Amico was saying that Korver's trade value is actually pretty inexpensive)

Assuming that would be the trade,. We still have that roster spot open to look at KMart to make sure we fill the minutes in the front court.

Mitch and Jimmy want him.. I don't think the Hawks trade him in all honesty, unless he comes out and says "Trade Me, I'm not staying"

NT has been doing that a lot for me too...

I agree on the Rudy Gay idea..

But from the Grizz standpoint, trading Rudy Gay for Josh Smith makes them the best Defensive team in the league... But offensively will play them out of as many games..

And with Hollinger having the organizations ear... He will basically steer clear of Josh because he likes Josh in the low post.. No way that is happening with the front court they currently have.

There is no trade scenario I can think of that can salvage this season.
Just take the season's failure and move it along.

You know its bad when you are counting on the outcome of other games to help shape the Lakers position.

Time to job huntin G.

Yup. But it's part time. And I can basically do nothing without getting fired. So I have to put up with it for a year.

On another note.. Man I really hope you see a therapist.. Your pessimism is worrying.

All the 4 teams a head of LA are fallin apart. LA just need to start winning and they can crack the top 8....but unfortunately i dont see it happening.
