Leonard got away with a big hold on Kobe on that last play too. :{

I didn't think it was that noticeable till I saw the replay.

Oh well, onto the next game.

That useless Howard-Hill-Jamison-Meeks-Duhon lineup is just...

I know it likely won't be used past Friday, but still. >:

Normally, I'm a pessimistic person.. but this loss was a no big deal.
Lakers had it handled the whole game, too many turnovers, too many forced shots, and free throws.

Spurs aint even that good

Okc and clips will give us more probs then them in the long haul of the season.
Antidope, GG bro.

The spur troll that followed you can die tho, that would be cool.

Not even gonna lie this game had Kobe game winner written all over it.

DBD is the man though.

Free throws and turnovers is what cost this team.

and not posting up Dwight more often
9 shots is not enough
It is not a good look when you consider that artest and gasol go 7-24 combined. Then you have morris electing to shoot instead of just running the offense to go 0-5. Same with Meeks.

It would have been a good strategy to try and foul out Duncan and the Argentinian player.

More than anything maybe it shows us we need a backup PG than anything else... At least good enough to put him with the starters for a bit..

So Nash can work with the bench. 15 minutes of Meeks & Jamison with Nash & Howard.. Or Nash & Pau. Would work well for those two bench guys..

So more than anything it's really time to find a backup PG before we do anything with Pau.

Y'all really done w/ Ron? :( :\ Definitely agree that Pau is worthless&needs to go, but Warier? Nah, man.

Metta has not been playing as bad people claim on here.

Dude is averaging 11.8 PPG & 5.0 board per game. The shots he's taking also are mostly wide open 3's and jumpers. He's not forcing that many shots.

Dudes on here complain & act like they want to replace him with a shooter who plays ZERO defense, like space cadet Vlad Rad :rolleyes

I don't mean that he has to go but someone needs to tell him to stop shooting so much. It is fine when he is wide open but he sometimes puts up contested 3s very early or tries to drive intro traffic. At least he plays good defense. Although he let Parker drive to his right EVERY time down the stretch.

Gasol is a lost cause though. I wish I could say that at least he plays defense but that part is actually worse than his offense. He let someone take a rebound away from his hands AGAIN. That is like 5 times already this season.

Backup PG >>>>>>>>>>>>>.

If we won, that was Pau late who got us there... He got ****** by a bad play call at the end.

Before we make any moves with Pau, I'm sticking by the need for a backup PG... Doesn't have to be a big scorer, just a bit of creating ability.. So we don't have to run Nash in the ground, and instead play him 1/2 with the Bench + 1 big.. And 1/2 with majority starters.

came home to catch the last nineteen seconds :{

kobe bein a little lazy on D then on offense kobe had a clean cut but pau hesitated

Everyone except kobe played bad on the offensive end. But yeah the 3 and 4 position are not looking good for the long term. Something is gonna have to be done about the SF position.
Lakers were playing with third string point guards out there so it was a good effort considering that.
The biggest problems are gasol and artest. Artest shoots way too many stupids shots and Gasol still playing soft on both ends.
Jodie Meeks was atrocious. Idk what dude was trying to do driving into traffic. I think he will improve once Nash is back though.
Howard needs to stop committing so many offensive fouls and also needs to protect the ball. That will come though.
Gasol and Artest are the problems that will not be easily fixed.

Thats what ive been thinking. For how skilled pau is he is just too soft. It was tolerated years past because his production outweighed it so heavily.

And Ron... :{ I dont no man stick a fork in him please. I have realized why he is like so much....he is sooo bad that when he does something he is actually suppose to it seems
amazing :lol

Should have tried to move Gasol in the offseason and amnesty Metta, too late for that now tho

We did try to move Pau in the offseason... But the Hawks wouldn't give us Jeff Teague & Josh Smith for Pau..

And we considered amnestying Metta.. Turns out we needed him because we then would have to fill in 6 spots in a rotation. (The deadline was before we signed Meeks, Jamison, re-signed Hill, and before we traded for Dwight)

Dwight stopped getting the ball obviously because of 5 turnovers earlier in the game.

You can't go to him in the post with the game line on because you know teams will just intentionally foul him and put him at the charity stripe.

But damn it when he's the only stater out there with the 2nd unit like at the start of the 4th quarters he needs to demand the ball and have the offense run through him.

Pau hits that 3, totally different thread. People just want someone to blame and its going to be Pau as the weak link. Look at the overall game, people.

Meeks had 3 turnovers that looked identical!!! Trying to over dribble to basket. If we had an actual head coach that knew he wasn't going to be laid off by Thursday,Meeks would have been taken out of the game after the first turnover.

Kobe had to play the 1 and 2 tonight, if Nash was healthy, that wouldn't be the case.

We had Artest playing as the SG the last 5minutes. That should tell you something.

And I am sorry to say it boys, but they were tired out there. That was obvious.

The Kobester was late around that pick (as usual) prob thought he could close out well enough, but his legs werent there.
Usual mental mistakes like the last minute of a game comes from no preparation & fatigue. Thats why being mentally tough
is so important.

I have no clue how they are suppose to keep up with Dantoni's system.
Expect injuries to increase if that happens

Gasol should have been traded after he lost the will to play in the 2011 season.

Even if nash comes back, the Lakers are going to need to cut someone on this team and add a productive backup at the SF or SG.
