I like what I saw from us tonight. Would have been nice to get the W, but I can't help but think of how we'll look come March. :smokin

As heartbreaking as that was, it'll make us a better team.

Awful play to finish the game but we played some great defense. Battled all the way to the end, but we just have to take better care of the ball. Specifically Meeks and Dwight. Mind you we're still without Nash and our Head Coach. But honestly we had a great chance to win that game so there aren't any excuses when thats the case.

I do think Kobe should've fully committed to that jumpshot Green nailed at the end. Let him hit that off the dribble, force him to make a play with Dwight lurking around. Disappointing loss to say the least, but we can take a lot of positives out of this game.

GG Spurs.

Normally, I'm a pessimistic person.. but this loss was a no big deal.
Lakers had it handled the whole game, too many turnovers, too many forced shots, and free throws.

Spurs aint even that good :lol

Okc and clips will give us more probs then them in the long haul of the season.

Saw that Kawhi was guarding Kobe and had him on lock, so I understand why MWP had to pass it to Gasol in the corner. Does anybody remember where the other 3 guys were positioned on that last play? Didn't have my eye on them.

Wasn't even that play that cost us the game.... It was the play where Metta blows a wide open shot.. We he could have just drove.. And Dwight throws Splitter to get the board, when he had position and an easy bucket regardless.

Doesn't excuse that **** play at the end.. But the MWP/Howard foul was the turning point.

Jamison was on the far corner 3 pt line, Dwight was set in the post, Kobe was driving down the lane, MWP was near the top of the 3 pt line.

Exactly. This game was a test game. We kept it close with talent and no offensive plans. Imagine when the players have it down with what D'Antoni starts having better game plans.

While I agree Pau should be dealt.

At the same time though his trade value has gone way down.

Aging PF, GM's know his stat's have been down, and he is due a ton of money the next 2 seasons.

Lakers are ****** at the 3 & 4 positions |I

Everyone except kobe played bad on the offensive end. But yeah the 3 and 4 position are not looking good for the long term. Something is gonna have to be done about the SF position.

Lakers were playing with third string point guards out there so it was a good effort considering that.
The biggest problems are gasol and artest. Artest shoots way too many stupids shots and Gasol still playing soft on both ends.
Jodie Meeks was atrocious. Idk what dude was trying to do driving into traffic. I think he will improve once Nash is back though.

Howard needs to stop committing so many offensive fouls and also needs to protect the ball. That will come though.

Gasol and Artest are the problems that will not be easily fixed.

hahaha kobe got busted on, thats what you get for playing lazy D...

Meeks cant shorten his dribble to save his life

and breaking news, Pau sucks

:D

I looked at the last play 5 times now... Was more so a bad play call than anything. YOU NEVER slide a big man into a corner on a final play. Especially if he's on the strong side. Pau should have been setting a screen at the top of the key to get Kobe the ball.

Frustrating end to the game but come playoff time I like our chances against the Spurs we played awful on offense and only lost by 2. Our size is a big advantage against them.
