Took too long with Black Lightning. Thought it was never gonna happen.

Moved on to Mr. Terrific.

I'm happy Black Lightning is getting some recognition, but I'm not excited about it being on the CW. Plus the budget TV special effects they're probably going to use for his powers.

They honestly do have a dead end they're ignoring.

Network shows and even cable won't cut it.

HBO is still showing no interest.

i love DC comics but man they got some terrible names :lol

‘Krypton’: Georgina Campbell Cast As Female Lead In Syfy Superman Prequel

British actress Georgina Campbell (After Hours) has landed the female lead of Lyta Zod in Krypton, Syfy’s Superman prequel pilot from David S. Goyer and Warner Horizon Television.

Based on the DC Comics characters created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, Krypton is set two generations before the destruction of the legendary Man of Steel’s home planet. It follows Superman’s grandfather Seg-El — whose House of El was ostracized and shamed — as he fights to redeem his family’s honor and save his beloved world from chaos.

Campbell’s Lyta Zod is a member of Krypton’s military caste and the daughter of a general, Alura Zod. Lyta Zod serves as a cadet — and has also been having a clandestine, forbidden romance with Seg-El (not cast yet).

This marks the U.S. TV debut for Campbell, who won the BAFTA Television Award for Leading Actress in 2015 for Murdered by My Boyfriend. She soon will be seen in the upcoming third season of Broadchurch as well as the feature King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, directed by Guy Ritchie. Campbell is repped by Independent Talent.

Yo that sounds hella promising. Plus sci fi seems like a perfect place for it

:evil :hat

Got no clue about the show either way but shorty fine.

Man yall noticing all these lightskin chick castings?

Zendaya for MJ, ole girl from Dope for Iris West, now we got Team Lightskin on planet Krypton?

Not complaining lol but still it's type funny

Not complaining either, but i do notice it. The other syfy shows I watch, dark matter and killjoys got fine light skin joints too. I bet the other shows are the same.

Don't forget Tessa Thompson (her and the new Iris could be sisters) as Valkyrie too.

Other than when they absolutely have to (Black Panther cast) this probably the best we'll get when they ask for more black ppl in these movies.

A whole new light skin wave.

Want my girls Tika Sumpter and Teyonah Parris to get cast and I'll be good.

Both The Killjoys actress and the Dark Matter actress are on Game Of Thrones. Watching the Dark Matter right now. One of my favorite sci-fi shows. Thought it was the finale but they have 2 more eps left.

Syfy cancels a lot of shows. Can't remember what show that I last watched and they canceled it out of the blue. All I remember was that they all had powers and ****.

If that casting sheet is real, Zendaya may not even be MJ

Might've been Alphas. Got cancelled after 1 season I think.

Their network is more consistent now. They did cancel Hunters which I liked a lot but got terrible reviews. Still wondering why they never went ahead with Blood & Chrome (Battlestar Galactica prequel about Adama). They had a short tv movie that I wasn't able to see.
