I had no idea what was going on during the Flash dream sequence.

I didn't understand how Lane was able to convince Bats not to off Supes simply by saying his mother's name was also Martha. He was straight hell bent on taking dude out, and the simple similarity of your mother's names is enough to do a 180?

It wasn't solely the name Martha it was the realization that Supes is just a dude trying to save his moms and not trying to conquer the world

Felt like they had the same music cue for 50 minutes straight, was making me feel like I was watching one long scene almost.

Naw man, let Affleck focus 100% of his attention on the Batman standalone films. Matter of fact, I don't even want to see him waste his time on Snyder JL movies.

They need to keep Goyer out as well. His time on the Nolan films is much appreciated, but he needs to move on. Verdict is still out on Terrio.

I was wondering during the movie, with the Batman stand alones take place after this film and we get the older batman for those? I'm sure that's the way it will go, but I wouldn't mind us seeing Ben as Batman prior the this film.

Sidenote, and I'll type more later, really wasn't that impressed with the movie, I'm a huge Batman fan, and ever since I saw the first trailer I was skeptical. Maybe a 6/10.

Also, who else laughed and thought it was incredibly corny the way Batman asked Superman if he bleeds, and then the way he delivered the line "you will!" Was truly cringeworthy.

Don't really mind the you bleed line. I think I would've preferred the movie to have more overly campy moments like that over overly brooding

Man I get it, but I don't get it. Supes was trying to explain that from the beginning of the damn fight. Suddenly Lane bursts in and he has an epiphany on some "what have I done" steeze.

It was still dope though. Batman > Superman all day in my book. Just don't like how the writers having my childhood hero look like he's out here slippin. I still have nightmares watching what Bane did in TDKR. It's real to me.


Sidebar, are there any detailed pictures out of the new bat mobile? That thing was incredible from the scenes they showed it in.

I can't believe someone had tweeted that this was the best superhero movie in 5 years

I guess that person had wanted to get ahead of the hype

Not even sure why it's funny, everyone got preference and they do not have to agree with yours all the time.

I mean don';t respect their opinion next time but I see no reason to laugh at someone who prefers something you don't agree with.

There are just people like that, hell that Grace chick on youtube found the film perfect and compared Snyder to Kubrick and Hitchcock.

I feel like she has aspergers and certain things like emotion, tone and pacing don't connect with her. Don't mean that as a jab, just an observation.

End fight scene was straight out of a DBZ fight with Freiza. Doomsday powering up 4x destroying cities.
JL "intro" clips looked like corny MTV Real World video scenes. Tell me why Aquaman posted up for a good 30 seconds in front of the camera before destroying it.

That chase scene where Batman was trying to get the kryptonite...where did Superman come from and why. The chase scene ended so abruptly when he crashed into Supes.

Saw the movie last night. I liked it. There was some corny things here and there, but I would watch it again.

Just catching up on the last couple pages of posts. Some of yall are really reaching for problems in this movie

. The movie was not perfect. I would give it a 7/10, but damn some of the complaints are laughable.

Have you ever lived in a house with a 14 year old boy?

They suddenly discover things like cynicism, they think they know every thing.

they start forging their own identity and suddenly they have stridently bad opinions about art that they insist are correct?


"Nah It Was written is better than Illmatic"
"Dark Knight Strikes Again is actually underrated"
"Kobe is better than Jordan, because Jordan can't shoot 3's"


They don't clear their history when they watch porno, and they are always in their feelings, suddenly they are too old for upbeat films, they think dark = automatically cool/realistic.




THAT is what Zach Snyder is, he is a hormonal 14 year old boy trapped in the body of a full grown man who has been entrusted with some of the most important modern mythological figures our culture has ever produced.

and he has ruined them. :x

It's actually worse somehow than Man of Steel. Man of Steel was offensive, but it had some coherent logic, this was 2.5 ours of completely disjointed scenes, MEANINGLESS oftentimes nonsensical dialogue, with a god damn Justice League power point presentation in the middle. The inanity of the dialogue is only partially hidden by the quality performances of Adamas, Affleck, Irons and Fishburn.

I've seen better more convincing emotional arc's in wrestling feuds.


Zach Snyder is officially the worst, his trademark visually style at this point borders on self parody, the action scenes are poorly done from a story telling perspective, the oppressive darkness makes it difficult to follow the action.

and much like the 14 year old boy that he is LOUD wrong, the film is a complete misreading the characters, but is so totally convinced that he is right. It's not even like thinking Nas "It Was Written" is better than Illmatic, it's like thinking Nastradamus is better than Illmatic.



If you were on the fence stay the **** home.

yeah, the cgi was very suspect at times. Especially Superman when he was getting the Armored Batman beatdown.

Actually, now that I think about it, the entire JLA intro that was shoehorned in was :x Wonder Woman got a nice pop from the audience when she appeared in her costume. Unfortunately, none of the other JLA guys got anything other than boredom. If that was supposed to get me excited for Aquaman, then I'm good on that movie

I went in with low expectations and it was still trash.

Let me give you the positives.

- Wonder Woman was awesome.

- Jeremy Irons was great as Alfred

- Affleck was good.

- The lady who played senator Finch was good.

I actually liked the small intros for the JL.


And I wouldnt call the movie trash either. It definitely wasn't perfect, but it got me excited for the DCU, and was better than MOS.

Zach Snyder is basically Michael Bay 2.0, minus the overt sexism.

BvS was basically about as good as a non Bad Boy Michael Bay movie, so if you like Michael Bay then go see it. If you hate those type of movies don't.
