I will say the look of MOS was pretty drab and dark all around. Nothing bright and vibrant so that didn't help Lois either.

I already got the Age of Apocalypse trilogy, Shi'ar/Skrull war multi-movie with the X-Men and F4, New Defenders, etc. and a plethora of others I've already mentioned around here before. Catch up.

As already suggested to you, read some comics, maybe you wouldn't be so limited and close minded about some of these characters.

I have already said I read the comics I like. They all happen to be X-Comics. I have no interest in following every single comic. DC comics sucks almost entirely and 95% of avengers comics are bland, boring ****.

Yes anyone can write a terrible movie buddha. In this case it really has nothing to do with the characters since I am cool with punisher. One of the better characters in the marvel universe but his books are poorly executed, tasteless, and unimaginative.

It is not a lie. Too many bland characters and too many variants of Batman and Superman. Even Superman's enemies are variants of Superman. It's disgusting really.

As for Avengers... the fact that their fans hate Brian Bendis says enough about how bland they like their books. Please continue to hate him. I dont want him wasting his time on Avengers books anyway.

Green Arrow
Justice League Dark
Batwoman
Animal Man
Swamp Thing
Wonder Woman
Batman of course
 
^I really like Batwoman and Batman from the little I have read so far (I am at issue 8 or 9 on both). Very well written books and yhe paneling on Batwoman is just :smokin I haven't read JLD yet but plan to soon since I am interested in that Zatanna character. Also plan on reading JLA soon too. JL (I am at issue 13) is hit and miss for me but overall I think it is nice. I was also considering Wonder Woman but never got around to it. They portray her as so innocent in JL, which is something I hardly care for. I like Supergirl tho (so far). Only read through issue 6.

What? For a comic book guy you certainly lack knowledge to most of the things that happen to comics, even to those as big as Batman & Superman. Variants? Have you seen Batmans Rogue Gallery? It is probably one of the most diverse and best in the whole comic book world.

Supermans enemies are variants of him? Outside of Zod & Bizarro? Brainiac is a Superman variant? Lex is a Superman variant? Darkseid is a Superman variant? Metallo, Parasite, Doomsday, Mongul, Eradicator, Gog, Mxyzptlk, Toyman, Grundy, Livewire, Imperiex, etc...

In almost any comic book though, there will always be a variant villain across the hero, they always try to make a polar opposite or someone who is really similar to clash with (like Flash & Prof Zoom) but not all are variants of the hero, come on now.
 
RFX, don't waste your time. Those kind of statements show clear ignorance on what he's talking about. Son doesn't even know how DC comics was formed to make a backwards statement like that even though I already told him.

Your opinions really aren't worth paying attention to cuz it seems you don't really pay any attention to the comics with these blanket ignorant statements. Almost like the last time you read any of these characters was in the 90s or 70s. So all I can say is read more comics. It seems you're only reading comics you like isn't working when talking about the characters.

I am use to that type of "comic book fan" though.

Being a comic book fan doesn't interest me. Not even a label I want to have. Just like sneakerhead. I don't even want to be associated with those type of people.

I actually tell people I don't like comics, I like X-Men (or I am not a sneakerhead, I just appreciate shoes) so I am glad we are at an understanding.

I honestly can't take Brian Cranston seriously because I don't see him as anyone other than Hal. I can't even watch Breaking Bad without chuckling.
 
Breaking Bad is going to end with him in witness protection under the name Hal.
