"Days of Future Past" - New X-Men Movie Release Date (First Class Sequel)

Just watched t again.

still think it was good and fixed a ton.

Sentinels were extremely powerful. Like Godlike. Xmen could of at least held there own and at least be outnumbered not overly outpowered.

This is where Logan could have shined with his aggressiveness and really use his claws to take these sentinels out. Especially with Blink being able to use her portals and Wolverine could of benefited a ton. I wish Magneto would of handled some as well.

i feel like theres something to the idea of magneto's power and wolverines/metal/healing like they should be unstoppable as long as theyre both alive

like magneto could manipulate wolverines claws to like amplify his power or something

like how well would the sentinels fare against the x-men like combining their powers?

Great point. Magneto, Blink and Wolvie could have done damage.

Magneto using Wolverine as a cannon :wow:

Looking through DOPs cast and man that movie has one of the best cast of all time.

Patrick Stewart
Ian McKellan
Ellen Paige
Halle berry
Hugh jackman
Peter dinklage
James mcavoy
Fassbender
Jenn law

Halle Berry was honestly the worst casting decision for Storm anyway. She hasn't felt right since 2001.

Storm is supposed to be a voluptuous African beauty and we get this skinny lightskinned chick who talks with a Ohio accent

Halle Berry was in the film as a cameo Just like James Marsden and Famke Janssen and Kelsey Grammer

It's still 2014 right?
It was better than Captain America.
No. It wasn't. Cap:WS was way better and far more enjoyable.
If you say guardians of the Galaxy that's debatable.
Not for me. GotG also was far better.

I look at the whole scale of the film. The totality of it all. They were fighting extinction. I haven't seen killers as deadly since terminator 2. No one from the MCU could stop them sentinels
Looking at the entirety of DofP I can say it wasn't the worst X-Men movie.

 @ Sentinels. Did that even consist of 15 min of the actual movie?

The ONLY reason I conceded to defeat with this movie being the superhero film of the summer/year over the magnificent ASM2 (y'all don't start your **** >: ) is due to the fact that I was absolutely floored at the fact that Bryan Singer returned to the movie franchise he directed after all those years missing in action and just nailed the tone of the movie. He righted all the wrongs, he reset the universe, he gave you Sentinels finally, he merged his original cast with the stellar new cast effortlessly, brought back characters that have been dead and made it make sense and then the icing on the cake.....he throws the X2 theme all throughout the movie like he never left :wow:

DoFP was a gutsy film to pull off because the comic is legendary and despite some differences that the film wouldn't have able to portray accurately it did the source material justice.

Bravo Singer. Ready to see how Singer portrays the 80's with Apocalypse. C'mon Mohawk Storm!

Cap2
Dofp
Gotg
20 dollar budget porno avengers parody
Watching paint dry
Asm2

Watching Peter Parker crying trying to console a dead body because he failed to keep a promise to the girls dying father > Watching Rocket Raccon cry because he was called a rodent

:x :rolleyes :rolleyes :rolleyes :x

The ASM2 hate

I mean I understand but I can't defend this slander. Remove Electro and give Goblin Harry more of a lasting presence and you have a stellar flick

This movie set the bar so high that Avengers 2 won't be able to do two things: 1, no way could their Quicksilver be better. There's no way. 2, Ultron wont be as deadly or fearful as those future sentinels. Those future sentinels would kill the Avengers easily. They beat Ultron. X-MEN never beat the future sentinels.

I'm still thinking Joss Whedon has something special up his sleeve for QS. If nothing else he'd be paired up with his oh-so special sibling which in itself will be amazing to see interpreted on screen (the vision/Scarlett witch love story will be fun to watch play out too :nerd: ) and as far a Ultron, he'll be condescending and psychologically menacing, something that the sentinels weren't in the comics or in DoFP. They just had targets and went after them. They were never really self aware

Best part of ASM2 was the death of Stacy. We all knew it was coming but still was in shock when it happened. That thud from her head hitting the ground had me feelin some kinda way.

I swear they would stall it out for a third film but the imagery in that scene alone is AMAZING! The clothing the colors of that whole scene, the quick but spectacular *** whoopin spiderman was giving to Harry, the hand that the web forms when Peter is trying to save Gwen in slo mo, the clothing that Gwen had on straight from the pages of "The night Gwen Stacy died", the clock striking 1:21 AS SOON as Gwen Stacy head hit the ground to signify issue #121 of ASM "The night Gwen Stacy died" :wow:

Such a beautiful film. I'm pretty sure people will appreciate it more when Marvel tells everyone the film was part of the MCU the whole time ....

:D

They can't do it with Quicksilver. I simply refuse to believe that the MCU will be able to deliver as completely as Singer did. Dude couldn't even be in the movie that long because he was simply too fast. Any and every problem would have been solved immediately

And **** a Scarlet Witch. She's half mental illness and half plot-specific powers. Terrible character
