Not sure how you can be a fan of comedy and say you turned this off in the first 15. Unless the frat boy Dane Cook brand of comedy is your type.

"she must have been sitting indian style"
I thought the same thing, until I watched the second one.....its betterrrrryo yall buggin hard.
I havent watched the second one yet but the first one was dope, had my eyes glued to the screen. Same chappelle, if not maybe better imo
Agreed.Hollywood show >>>>Austin show.
Hollywood show was legit hilarious. Austin show had it's moments but was boring at times.
"Actually we haven't eaten in a couple hours."Agreed.
The Kevin Hart story had me screaming
Man me and my wife was dyin'. My son act like he ain't been no where, ever had a good meal, just embarrassing sometimes!!
"Actually we haven't eaten in a couple hours."
Anybody think Dave kinda copied this joint
No, you're bugging hard.
These 2 specials aren't even close to his older material, stop it.
Slim Dave > Buff Dave
on top of "Dave what you doing around here? this isn't a nice place" "Uhhh yeah I live here"Man me and my wife was dyin'. My son act like he ain't been no where, ever had a good meal, just embarrassing sometimes!!
"Actually we haven't eaten in a couple hours."
The disrespect he took for his son.
on top of "Dave what you doing around here? this isn't a nice place" "Uhhh yeah I live here"
^^^I also think people's expectations on this is just too much. If he put out consistent work, these specials wouldn't be looked at in such a light. It's like him being away for a long time sort of hurt him as well. Sort of like Outkast. There last album was there best and with no consistent work in between, it is super hard for them to try to make music in today's time. That is why when they headlined Cochella, no one really cared.
Dave is good though, no doubt about it. I just hope these specials don't depict what he actually does live.

The Love Below/Speakerboxx is OutKast's best album? I've never heard anybody say this before

wut?Two hours and probably 20 minutes of it was funny. Kevin Hart **** is the only part that really stuck out to me. A few good lines here and there. Trans stuff was kind of funny and his boy being gay. I was waiting for him to get real offensive and never did. I think I prefer Dave in movies. I don't think any of his standups have ever been real funny to me.
LA one was funnier to me. TX show was kind of uncomfortable. **** was country as hell and full of white cowboys.
I actually saw the material for the second one live in houston
it's from atleast 2015 I believe
the second one had to be more recent but prolly still atleast a year old too
I'm leaning towards the first one being better but some angles he took from the second one are impressive
I was at that show too in Houston but it was like almost brand new cuz I couldn't remember most of it. Either way I liked the LA show better. Dave still funny to me.
All true points.People get stuck in the past too much. Killing Them Softly will forever be the GOAT Chappelle special b/c that was sort of his mainstream coming out party as far as stand-up goes.
But these new joints are classic Dave. They'll never give you the same feelings that those older shows did, but he's still absolutely hilarious.
I also think a lot of the younger folks on here equate him to his show, and his stand-up isn't ever going to be that.
