I wanted the butter cuz I don’t have a ton of tan/butter shoes. My next favorite colorway are the darker almost brown tan pair. Hopefully I can cop either

Not in agreement with the strategy on making the first colorway very limited but it keeps the attention of the consumer beyond just the launch colorway. Seems to be the plan on most signature launch colorways. While it’s frustrating, it works. Most of us still want a pair and will attempt to go after the next and then the next until we finally get a pair. Then more quantity on the later colorways of course.

in the boat of not being a fan either, but makes tons of sense to keep the consumer engaged for the following launches. also helps the shoe get sold at full retail price instead of being perceived as something the consumer can wait to get discounted if there's too much stock made and just sitting on the shelfs

will say tho that nike/converse def could've made more pairs of the butters and im certain they'll sell through 99% of the units
