I chose Loyola because of where it's located .

Loyola &nd Depaul BOTH have lots of suburban rich white kids .
They're similar .
The problem with that is unless you're a business major you're not going to be spending all your time downtown you're going to be at best commuting back and forth between the lake shore and water tower campus. Or just living at the lake shore campus and Rogers Park is definitely FTL.
(btw, I use to go to Loyola, it's not a bad place, I'm just not super fond of it.)
What you got against Uptown/Rogers Park
I live by Loyaola and I can tell you its cool. You got Indian Town, Argyle/Little Vietnam, Evanston (Northwestern U), Howard St., the lake/beaches, The Aragon/Riviera (concert venues), The Green Mill (throw back bar)
..... etc all close. Plus the 147 express bus will get you downtown in 15 minutes.
