Cheap things you do vol. every dollar counts

We had a guy get fired for stealing toilet paper from work. He was on a warning because he’d deliver food to hospitals and ask them to print stuff for free because he didn’t have one
Guy also was a chauffeur for escorts

My dad was a carpenter for the public school board when I was growing up in the early 90s. House always had a fresh supply of toilet paper, paper towels, and cleaning supplies.

Terrible quality stuff tho. Still, probably saved the fam a few g's over the years. 😂

Since I bought my house I’ve been coming in for a few hours on the weekend to “work on extra projects” for some additional income.

The reality is I do the same amount of work as I’ve always done, just slower, and I use the weekend as an opportunity to steal supplies.

I’m not responsible for this one, but when me and my wife bought our house the fences surrounding the backyard were in shambles. My FIL is a contractor and was doing work on the house before we moved in when he was approached by one of the neighbors asking if we’d be interested in splitting the cost of a new fence on that side. Without asking us, FIL said that we were strapped for cash and couldn’t do it. The neighbor went ahead and put up a new fence on her side.

A week later my MIL surprised us and paid to have the other 2 sides of the fence replaced with a new one that matched the neighbor’s fence. I don’t think that neighbor likes us lol.

I refuse to buy work clothes so my boss came up to me today like “alright man I’m gonna have some fresh shirts and hats for you tomorrow, this is too much.

I’m out here looking like a homeless man, shirts all ripped once yellow is now grey but it works everytime. Always free work clothes.

One time I got a government job because they gave free boots so I got the most expensive ones then went to a contractor that works for them because the contractor pays more after I got my boots so I see the guys who hired me all the time.
