Cheap things you do vol. every dollar counts

If he's driving a 3 series he must've penny pinched to get one and is struggling now.
Lol I wouldn't doubt it. I see the 3 series as the car that most people get when they really can't afford a BMW.

I can't tell you how many run down, base 3 series I see. I stand by that statement.

Ahh I gotcha.

Makes sense.
Yeah I know a guy that has had his 3 series in his garage for 6+ months because he couldn't afford the $1500 maintenance bill.
If you can't afford the maintenance you can't afford the car IMO.

Man, a lot of y'all ain't cheap, y'all theives. And then another 3/4s just aren't smart. The amount of time some of y'all waste to pinch nickels and dimes doesn't equate to long or short term savings, just time wasted. Your time is the most valuable thing you have and can never get back.

I was thinking about getting some cordless clippers. Would definitely make my job a little easier.

Be careful with the coordless joints. All the ones I've tried, the motor was kinda weak

So the movie theater would do free refills on popcorn and soda, right? Dunno if he still does this but my boy would take popcorn bags and soda cups out the garbage at the movies so he could get em for free. He'd put a little hole in them so that the concession stand would just give him a new one. I've seen this work for him a handful of times. I would just :{ every time.

Personally I just skip the popcorn and soda when I go to the movies. I could stand to lose a few pounds but it's mostly cause I'm cheap. Also, I rarely go to the movies and just rely on the interwebs

I don't think skipping popcorn and soda as the movies is being cheap. Its way over priced.

**** I look like paying $10 for a soda and popcorn?
$5 for a bottle of water?
When I can get a whole 24pk at the grocery store for $4

Man I took my family out to see The Perfect Guy about a week or two ago. I was irritated because I spent like $50 on the tickets (Can't believe they charge 14 year olds as adults) & some money on a medium size popcorn & coke because my grandma wanted it.

I shave my face in the shower and I haven't bought shaving cream in over a year.

Facts. Time > Money.

Sneak in Candy/drinks inside movie theaters. Yes, I know, it's a cheap thing to do. But damn, those prices are crazy. I'm generally not a cheap person though, especially when it comes to treating others.

I don't think anyone would argue about sneaking food into a theater.

As far as theaters go, I either sign up for free screenings or go early Saturday before the price jumps, other than that, ShowBox.

I signed up for theater promotions so I'll only buy something if I have a decent promo (something free w/ purchase) Last time I went to the movies (w/ my daughter) I spent about $20 total to get in and snack bar.

Dollar Tree has the same candy for the low, what I look like paying $4 for some Buncha Crunch? :lol

But I coupon to the best of my ability and rarely buy something unless it's on sale or I have a coupon

I price match online for instore purchases and top it w/ coupons

Target Red Card + Cartwheel App + mobile coupons + manufacturer coupons+clearance= flourishment

Reminds me of somebody I know.  Has been exercising bizzare "saving" habits for years in order to get "rich". Yet he's been driving around in this:

If you guys pay $14 cash for tickets you are losing.

Screenings in big cities suck cause they over book and you gotta wait for an hour to be guaranteed.

But I have a hook up. I'll mail you guys $10 tickets.

Visa signature has that bogo.
I get tickets for 9 through them Corp sites.

I don't do full price movies

On the rare occasion that I go to Mcdonalds, I order through the drive thru and pull up and pay, proceed to the next window and receive my meal. Then I'll just wait until they bring out the next order and pull off

The employee is rarely the same person who brought out the last one, and I've even had the same person before and they just blindly hand me the bag on some "have a nice day" steeze

My wife stocks up on sample perfume in those tiny bottles everytime we go to Nordstrom or Macy's instead of just buying it.

I sell own cars instead of trading them in.

I don't make any purchase with out checking online first.

I wash my own car.
