It seems what should have happened is the buy should have sent back the shoes anyway with tracking and if the seller refused to refund buyer, then get paypal involved t get your money back. It seems to me paypal should have told you to ship back the shoes with tracking.

I believe most of my online purchases are through paypal. What prevents the buyer from filing a chargeback and still keeping the item? Isn't that how a lot of these shoe scams happen?

If you can't get clear pics of what you're buying, best thing to do is walk away. Especially if it's used.

He didn't necessarily rock them once shoes get that creased new ones just don't appear if the same person is wearing them....

Finally got a minute to look over things.
At this point,

needs to ship the shoes back. If he doesn't, then he will lose his account and any other accounts he makes in the site. This is theft at this point and not cool.
All of the other stuff... That's for trader feedback purposes. Not all transactions go smooth when dealing with used shoes. Yes, the seller definitely was wrong BUT PayPal has already sided with the buyer and refunded the money therefore the shoes need to go back.
I'll check back weds to see if the shoes have gone back before laying the ban hammer.
