Can I weight train to lose weight and not gain bulk?

So what types of goals would call for endurance running and what types of goals would call for HIIT?


I have also heard that doing cardio first thing in the morning before eating anything or doing it after your 45-60min weight training workout burns the mostfat, is this true?
 
Before I got sick.. i used to workout consistently and play ball.. but the one thing I learned is if you want to get in shape its all about your diet andcardio. Most people think they can hit the gym and go grab a taco or hamburger. It just doesn't work that way.
