Can Hollywood Invent A Super Hero?

Surprised it took that long to post The Incredibles.

My question is, why would you want Hollywood to invent a superhero?

The redeeming quality of superhero comic books are that for every 5 recycled, forgettable, hack stories, there's one that rises above, lasts long beyond the pages and reaches for something more. But that's with so many swings at getting it right. If Hollywood started making their own off-brand superheroes, we'd most definitely be getting worse than something they could pluck from the 80 years of comic book writing.

I get being tired of seeing the same dudes get done over and over against though. It sucks cuz, there's an almost endless amount of great comic stories that haven't been touched yet. Like, where are Y: The Last Man and Sandman at?

Is there ever gonna be a Black Panther movie?

Iono...either way, I would rather have more Inceptions than more Thors.

I think its just easier to adapt a comic book then invent a super hero. Every super hero has an already existing fan base that will see the movie. So its a very easy start. And i agree with MrOnegative, its hard to combat long history of comic book making. They tried with Hitchcock. They said lets make a super hero movie that is different....something like an alcoholic super hero who doesn't even want to be a hero....YEAH thats new and different....oh wait it was a terrible movie.

I think its do-able i just think its really risky for a studio to go forward with such an undertaking. When comic book super hero movies even fail.

they should make a hero movie anout sum1 that doesnt want to b a hero. its a true tragedy because they never amount to what they should b. mad ppl die cux of the failure. its an ode to all the heroin deaths, homicides, apathey, etc

those dismonds in the rough in turn become our heroes bevause they serve as inspiration/springboard

i could do many diff things w. that

another idea is a lil girl from the hood, moorish complexion and she hangs out with this chemical apparition. im thinkin like that lil girl from walkin dead game, but a shade or 3 darker, primarily because there needs to be more positive portrayals of strong moorish women in our american culture.

neways she met the apparition when she was done playin with her friends, the thing hid from every1 and waited for the lil girl to be dolo cuz the way she was talking to her friends, its dope, im briefly goin thru it in my mind now. so they go on adventures, maybe she grows up sumhow inherits the powers whatever.

a possible villain is the guy who runs the chemical factory sum1 he knows or runs wit is the main villain whos got bunkers wit crazy heatiz and all that. but maybe thats too obvious. patent pending hollywood/everyone else, copyright 2013.
